Many Bridges - One River

Many Bridges - One River
Novel
Driving through the South of France, Ariane observes a hit-and-run accident. As the only witness, she feels compelled to halt her journey.
During her stay, she meets the victim of the incident, the ageing artist Alain. At his invitation, she agrees to stay temporarily as a guest in his spacious Provençal house.
Soon, it becomes evident that these events are not mere coincidences and hold much greater significance than just in the present. By recognising that all aspects of life are interconnected, the unusual bond between Ariane and Alain prompts a deep reflection on the meaning of life – and death.
The author says about her book:
"The stimulus for this fictional novel emerged from countless real events in my own life. I took the courage to write this book from the experience that nothing happens without reason, coincidences do not exist, and almost nothing is impossible."

for anyone open to everything that exists between worlds. I can only recommend
this book!
Another reader on Amazon:
Worth
reading, not just for Francophiles! The novel takes the reader to a small
village in Provence. It depicts the development of a relationship between two
mature individuals, described over a period of several years—beginning with
their first, seemingly accidental, encounter. This book is about the power of
love, about searching and finding, about life's big questions. The novel's plot
is underscored by impressive descriptions of nature and atmosphere, which allow
the reader to immerse themselves in the landscape of southern France. Worth
reading, not just for Francophiles!

Dear Marina Müller!
You have written a wonderful book, and I read it with great pleasure. (...) Yes, souls can divide. And souls can merge. Both things are beautiful. (...) Knowing that death unites far more than it divides. Thank you for writing this book and giving it to me.
All my love! Yours, Lotte Ingrisch (Vienna / Austria)
I devoured this book like I haven't read one in a long time. It touched me deeply, and I often found myself reflected in it, but I also discovered new, interesting, and relatable perspectives—about life, about death, about interpersonal connections, and about SOMETHING that seems to guide it all. Furthermore, the author takes the reader into the smallest corner of a house, a garden, a village, so that you feel as if you've been there yourself. The people she describes also appear so clearly and vividly before your mind's eye. Her views on life, on morality and ethics, on nature and politics—all of this is so subtly woven into this story of friendship and love. This book is definitely one of the things I would take with me to a deserted island. - E.F.

Your book "Many Bridges - One River" excited me so much, even though I'm not much of a "bookworm", because your writing style is so beautiful. - C.R.
