Tropic of the Evening Sun

Tropic of the Evening Sun

Novel

Ariane, whom we met in the novel "Many Bridges – One River," returns, against her own plans, to the place where she was happy for many years. Through life in the house, but also through experiencing the landscape surrounding the property, the highly sensitive woman is reminded of the days and nights she spent there. They consisted of light, sounds, and scents that changed with the seasons.

In this constant flux of emotions, Ariane also senses the memory of the man she lost, with whom she still seems connected by a mysterious shared past.

In confronting her past, especially her loss, a closely guarded secret is revealed to her. She realises that she has not yet mastered all of life's endeavours ... and that the most essential task of all, the most incredible adventure by far, still lies ahead of her.

Reader´s opinions regarding the German Original

I haven't just read the book, I devoured it. I'm thrilled… At the end, one is sorry it doesn't continue. I hope many readers feel the same way. For myself, I hope to read many more pages by this author… - S.L.

You've done it again, captivating a non-bookworm with your book. - E.F.

I gave my friend both of your novels for her birthday last year. She's still quite taken with them, especially the second novel, "Tropic of the Evening Sun". She recently told me that it's still on her mind, even though she reads a lot of books. I was very happy about that… - G.S.
