Many Bridges - One River
Novel
Driving through the South of France, Ariane experiences a hit-and-run accident. As the only eyewitness she is forced to interrupt her journey. During her stay she meets the victim of the accident, an aging artist named Alain. At his request she moves as a guest into his large Provençal house.
Soon it becomes evident that these events are in no way coincidences, and that they have a meaning not only in the present.
Through the recognition, that all things in life are interconnected, the unusual relationship between the two people leads to a deep reflection on the things and the meaning of living – and of dying.
